Don Vaughan, Attorney was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has been practicing law for thirty years, and today maintains an office in downtown Greensboro.

He worked his way through high school for the City of Greensboro as a summer playground director. Don Vaughan, Attorney, was also the captain of his high school tennis team.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Don Vaughan, Attorney, received a Lectureship to the School of Government and Public Administration at American University in Washington, D.C., where he received his Master in Public Administration degree in 1976. He attended Wake Forest University School of Law, made the Law Review, and received his Juris Doctorate in 1979. He served in he North Carolina State Senate from 2008 to 2012.
